Long Live Afrique (Africa in French) is a non-profit organization- created by African students living in the U.S. We are dedicated to increasing public awareness of the conditions in African schools and providing underprivileged African youth with access to learning and recreational environments equipped with modern technology, and educational materials. Furthermore- Long Live Afrique is first in providing news, videos and photos of African philanthropist, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations and causes that directly correlate with African communities.
Long Live Afrique was found by Raby Gueye, in 2012. Gueye is native Senegalese. In the early 1990’s, Gueye and her family had to flee their country after a border war broke-out between Mauritania and Senegal. Her father, a teacher, was imprisoned during the war and now still resides in Africa. With a bachelors in Global Studies (Human Rights), Gueye is devoted to inspiring social change. Her goal is to have -Long Live Afrique- serve as a platform to empower and unite African students, communities, and government officials to help rebuild Africa's future.
